It also helps the reader to identify with porn stars, while challenging them to decide what they think about the industry. Though this material may seem dark, I have a keen interest in what this saturation of sexual images is doing to our culture. Being a recovering porn addict myself, along with having grown up during the dawn of internet porn, and having taught young girls for years, I know first-hand that porn is not a neutral topic. It is indeed affecting every aspect of our relationships and my goal is to make its effects a less taboo topic.
